Masta Killa readies second solo

Masta Killa has completed the recording of his sophomore release, Made In Brooklyn, which is slated for a US release date of August 8 2006.

It’s been two years since Masta Killa dropped his solo debut ‘No Said Date’. The album was not surprisingly slept on by the general hip hop crowd but those who copped it were happy they did. The no-bullshit, traditional Wu-Tang album was not only pure heat, but also the first of the Wu solo albums to feature every member of Wu-Tang.

Masta Killa has completed the recording of his sophomore release, Made In Brooklyn, which is slated for a US release date of August 8 2006. Along with guest appearances from Method Man, RZA and Inspectah Deck, the album also features production from MF Doom, Pete Rock and Bronze Nazareth. Masta Killa had this to say about the new album.

“it’s basically the same formula as No Said Date, but with more of a Brooklyn swagger. It’s a piece of me, where I come from and a dedication to the MC’s, producers and the people from the neighborhood.”
