Laugh Now, Cry Later”, Ice Cube’s first new album in six years, has debuted in the Top 5 of the US albums chart, pushing 145,000 units in it’s first week!

Don’t forget this is an independent album, making Cube’s slice of the record sales pie substantially larger than your average. Good numbers for that indie hustle. The album was riding on the success of the first single, Scott Storch produced ‘Why We Thugs’, and will now sell on the strength of the second single, ‘Church’, featuring Lil Jon and Snoop over a Lil Jon beat.

To date, Cube has sold over 10 million albums.
