BBE have announced a release date and a tracklisting for Dilla’s third solo album ‘The Shining’. The album will be released August 22 this year and will feature frequent collaborators such as Common, Busta Rhymes and Madlib, along with a few surprises.

The tracklisting released from BBE is as follows:

Dilla was best known for his work in the production ensemble The Soulquarians and subsequent collaborative work on classic albums from D’Angelo and Common. He is also the man behind Common’s ‘The Light’, Tribe’s ‘Find A Way’ and De La’s ‘Stakes Is High’. Dilla unfortunately died in February at the age of 32 after suffering from lupus.
