Ground Up favourite DJ Quik has been sentenced to a five month jail term after a disagreement with his sister.

Reports suggest Quik has already begun his jail term in San Bernardino County. The reason for Quik’s bid dates back to 2003, when Quik pulled a handgun on his sister during an argument. He was sentenced in 2004 to serve serve 45 days in jail on weekends after pleading guilty to assault. The problem is, Quik never served the time and therefore violated his probation.

on June 22, Judge Keith Davis sentenced Quik to 150 straight days and ordered the sentence begin immediately.
