Jamie Kennedy To Release Hip Hop Album

The comedian has signed a deal with Reprise Records/Warner to release the album, which also features Ice-T, E-40, Paul Wall and Kardinall Offishall. Blowin Up is described as “lighthearted rap album with comedic undertones and poppy beats”, so I guess the current groups on top of the goofy softcock-rap pile (Ugly Duckling and Time Machine) are gonna be beefing with this guy or something.

Malibu’s Most Wanted star Jamie Kennedy is set to release his debut hip hop album “Blowin’ Up”, which is due for release in July.

Blowin Up is not just Jamie Kennedy however, it’s actually a group effort with his long time friend Stu Stone. Together the duo form Jkss. Jkss have also paired up with Ice-T to create exclusive ringtones based on their MTV series of the same name, Blowin Up.

Blowin’ Up is scheduled for a July 11th release. More info jkssrecords.com
