Fab’s Album Pushed Back
This dude just keeps disappointing me. First he cancels his Australian tour, and now Fabolous’ fourth album ‘From The Bottom To The Top’ has been pushed back to February 2007. The album will be his first through Def Jam, after Fab’s relationship with Atlantic broke down due to poor promotion of his third album Real Talk, which despite achieving Gold sales, was Fab’s lowest selling album to date.

From The Bottom To The Top is slated to feature production from Just Blaze, Kanye, Jazze Pha and an assortment of unknown producers Fab sourced after setting up a publicly-known gmail account for up-and-coming producers to send beats to.
“I set up a MySpace page and put a Gmail [Google mail] account where anyone could send beats and I checked them out. Of course it got to be too much to handle, but at first I got to listen to a lot of the beats on there. It was definitely helpful, even if I didn’t get to use them on the album. I will, for future mixtape stuff as long as they are cool with that.”
Speaking of mixtapes, Fab’s second instalment of ‘Loso’s Way’ will hit streets in December.
“I wanted to do it during December when people are home from work and school,” Fabolous said. “Give them [fans] a chance to zone out, to get them hype for the February release.”

Fab fans can hear some more info about the album in this clip from Smack DVD. Warning: Dude is wearing a grill in this clip, so anyone who ever wore braces may have flashbacks to being unable to pronounce the letter ’s’ while watching.
