What’s up with the coverart here Tongue? This shit is creepy, I’m not gonna sleep well tonight. Tongue does his thing here on his debut EP though. With beats from The Bagraiders (who produce the title track, which is my personal favourite on the EP), J.P and Fame, the short playin’ EP bounces along nicely through the 5 tracks. Chances are you’ve heard Counterfeit Cheques before, and for good reason, it’s definitely a highlight. The remix is here too, but I can’t help but think it would have been better to have the additional verses (from Urthboy and Fame) over the original beat. A solid release from an MC who’s definitely gonna be around for more than a few summers.
