Supposedly there have always been rumours of Queen’s [real name Dana] sexuality - generally something I would try not to think about. Today her trainer, Jeanette Jenkins, publicly outed the ex-rapper-turned-actor to the media, claiming she is Dana’s lover and has been for years.
The reason for Jeanette’s statement after all these years may have something to do with a rumoured affair Queen Latifah is having with another woman.

Latifah is not gay. I’m sick of that bs. And if she is. So what? That’s Latifahs personal life. So stay out of it! And her trainer is a f in lier. She needs to get a life. Latifahs a good person. Leave her alone!
Ok here goes my opinion, and mines is a one and a million but here is what I think, If She is Gay let her be so What, She is still Dana Owens just with a lil more money then the rest of the world. She has her reasons for not telling. And even though it is obvious to the rest of the world sometimes somethings are just better off left unsaid, by the actually mouth. I mean I am a lesbian but i don’t go around the work place shouting it for the world to hear, if you know then you know, if you don’t then you don’t. People are putting so much emphasis on wether this WOMAN is gay are not but it isn’t gonna change the movies she’s been in or the albums she wrote, sung, rapped on, none of the above. She is still Dana Owens who ever that is.I dont know her personally and none of you will ever either so beat it with the madness, People wanna know so they can gossip more. Ellen Degeneres is gay, along with a whole sluth of famous people. It was talked about for a minute. But the more you talk the more your giving THE QUEEN more footage and thats a good thing for her, You know they say bad press is better then no Press…Get’em girl..The only thing that I am waiting for is for her to say it so we can have a LEADING BLACK LESBIAN in hollywood..Paving the way..

Who cares actually? The haters? The papparazzi? The bigoted people who look to tear-down individuals who are different from them? Well,there are the love-lorn lezzies who are infatuated with the prospect of a gay queen.(I’m not talkin about these people…)
I don’t know her personally;only her body of work,which I like very much.
I think the fact that she’s a gun-toting,Pot-smoking,fast-driving(speeding) superstar that manages to remain popular inspite of is much more interesting to me than who she’s kissing.

Why is that anytime the question of WHETHER she is a lesbian comes up, folks respond as though the intent was to CRITICIZE her for being a lesbian? Yes, she is still the same person whether she is a lesbian or not, but it seems some of the fans are way too touchy about it. This is America, and sorry to be the one to tell you, but the American public obsesses over its stars in general. The media, paparazzi, fans, etc., fall all over themselves tryna see who folks like Jamie Foxx, Karinne “Superhead” Steffans, P. Diddy, Paris Hilton, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, or Jennifer Aniston will date next…and these are folks who (as far as we know) are heterosexual. They are also folks who are ridiculously famous. When you’re a celebrity, questions about your personal life might get supremely aggravating, but if you weren’t on people’s minds, you wouldn’t be a celebrity. Even when you aren’t famous, once you pass 35 without even a prospect of getting married, as Queen Latifah has, folks are bound to ask questions. I, personally, like the fact that this question comes up periodically because it’s an indicator that our Girl has made it! Nobody gives a damn who you date or which way you swing when you’re just another nobody like them.
