Jeezy Debuts At Number One

Jeezy moves 352,000 copies in it’s first week to debut in the number one spot on this week’s Billboard chart

Young Jeezy’s sophomore LP Thug Inspiration has moved 352,000 copies in it’s first week to debut in the number one spot on this week’s Billboard chart.

Thug Motivation went up against American Idol winner Taylor Hicks’ debut, which moved 298,000 to debut at number 2. Does this make The Snowman America’s preferred idol? Other sellers this week were last week’s number one, Ciara’s The Evolution which experienced a 51% sales drop to end up at number 11. Coincidentally, Eminem’s The Re Up also slumped by 51% and slid to number 13.

Ghostface had a slow first week. After Fishscale sold 110,000 in it’s first week back in April, More Fish managed only 36,000 units to debut week at number 71.
