Nas’ Hip Hop Is Dead keeps surging forward

After we reported only a few days ago that Nas was looking like selling 200,000 copies of Hip Hop Is Dead in his first week, industry magazine Hits has reported it’s more like 300,000 - 325,000.

In what has been a very sluggish year for album sales, Nas will have one of the strongest first weeks of the year. It doesn’t mean much to the QB True G tho, as he spoke on album sales;

“I just like to hear that people are liking it and I don’t [need] to know what [the sales numbers] are. I don’t care.”
