Monie Love Fired After Jeezy Incident

Monie Love no longer working at Philadelphia’s 100.3 The Beat

Philadelphia’s 100.3 The Beat have confirmed Monie Love is no longer an employee of the station. While it’s not yet confirmed whether she was fired or simply resigned, word is she was fired following the Young Jeezy incident. (Check our December 8 post ‘“Jeezy Disses Nas, Argues With Monie Love”)

The on-air feud between Jeezy and Monie Love, which began with an ‘is hip hop dead’ argument, ended with Jeezy dissing England, questioning Nas’ street credibility and storming out of the studio after being constantly antagonised.

Representatives of the station would not confirm nor deny the argument was the reason for Monie’s departure. “I have no comment on that,” said Daisy Davis, Operations Manager at 100.3 The Beat.
