Canibus Readies New Mixtapes, LP

Hip Hop’s weirdest ongoing saga gets ready to hit the major labels again

Canibus … yea THAT Canibus. They guy who went crazy, ran off and joined the Army, recorded an album to a metronome and rapped about who knows what. Yea that Canibus is back in business.

Canibus Central has reported Canibus is preparing two mixtapes with international distribution, due out in early 2007. The mixtapes, Nothing To Prove and Nothing To Lose will be followed up with a new album C Of Tranquility.

The album will be released through Canibus’ own label, Mic Club Music, in a joint venture with Legion Entertainment distributed via the Universal Music Group. This makes C Of Tranquility Canibus’ first major-label release since 2000 BC.
