Ashanti isn’t Engaged to Nelly

“Contrary to current rumor and gossip on websites and other media, Ashanti is not engaged,” said a rep for Huff Entertainment.

Over the holiday period, rumours surfaced that couple Ashanti and Nelly became engaged. They have been together since the end of 2003; however a rep for the R’nB singer has denied any engagement.

“Contrary to current rumor and gossip on websites and other media, Ashanti is not engaged,” said a rep for Huff Entertainment.

Poised to comeback to music this year after abandoning singing for acting in [bad] movies and television, Ashanti doesn’t need to be engaged right now, particularly not to Nelly. Let’s get some decent producers online and do this ‘Incredible’ LP; and maybe ditch Gotti, JD and rumoured Pharrell tracks.
