DJ Drama & Don Cannon Locked Up
Record sales slump all over the US, so the RIAA arrests two people responsible for promoting hundreds of albums via mixtapes.

DJ Drama, the man behind the Gangsta Grills mixtape series and Don Cannon have been arrested for ’selling counterfeit CD’s on the internet’. Why Drama was singled out I’m not sure, when he is just one of hundreds of mixtape DJ’s out there on the grind.
If the RIAA choose to persue further mixtape DJ’s, this will have disastrous effects on hip hop’s underground mixtape circuit, and cut off a massive promotional opportunity for both new and established artists. As Eskay at Nahright said, “They didn’t seem to mind a year ago when Drama was promoting T.I. and pushing his album to Gold status in a week.”
Album sales are down all over, and the RIAA are going to stop promotional mixtapes being released? What are they fuckin retarded?

RIAA can suck my dick
